The Professional’s Choice Leather Skid Boots are designed with hard-working Western performance horses specifically in mind. Skid boots protect the horse's ankle and pastern, especially when a horse needs to stop fast -- such as reining horses, roping horses, and gymkhana horses. Skid boots provide a barrier between the ground and your horse's fetlock because sometimes when horses engage to stop quickly, they can drag their fetlocks onto the arena footing.
The Professional’s Choice Skid Boots are built with a tough protective cup and the top strap is lined with UltraShock, for comfort and extra protection. There are aggressive hook and loop closures that keep the boot firmly in place, while the leather straps are soft to keep the boot tight around the horse’s leg without causing it to rub. These popular skid boots have been tested for durability, comfort, and fit. You and your horse will love them!
