AniMed Flax Seed Oil Blend is made from a blend of flax seed oil and soybean oil. Flax seeds are among the richest sources of essential omega-3 fatty acids, including the essential alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). Flax seed oil also provides your horse with other supportive micro-nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, helping them maintain health and wellness from the inside out. Omega-3 fatty acid supplementation can promote overall wellness, as well as hoof growth, muscular development, hoof growth, and a shiny coat. The soybean oil helps to stabilize the flax seed oil, giving it a much longer shelf life than other flax seed supplements. This oil blend is popular for performance horses, breeding stock, and senior horses.
