Saratoga Update on COVID-19 with Operational Changes

We are committed to supporting you and your animals, and we will continue to remain open in order to provide you the feed and essential supplies you need to keep your animals happy and healthy. There are, however, some important operational changes we have implemented at The Cheshire Horse of Saratoga.

The governor in the state of New York has encouraged businesses to reduce traffic and consider closing voluntarily, and we are doing our best to follow these guidelines. As such, we are requesting with kindness and gratitude that you please place a phone order for curbside pickup. We are adopting this practice to minimize the number of people in the store at one time, in order to respect the health of our customers and employees. During this time, employees will be the only people inside the store. We are happy to schedule an online chat for you to have a virtual shopping experience – just ask!

Until future notice, our hours at The Cheshire Horse of Saratoga will be as follows: Monday-Wednesday 11:00-4:00, Thursday-Friday 11:00-6:00, Saturday 10:00-4:00, and Sunday 11:00-3:00.

This is an unprecedented situation that has led many to make difficult decisions. Please know that first and foremost, we are here for you and your animals. We will continue to do everything we can to provide you with our same friendly service. We truly appreciate your continued support and understanding during this critical time.

Saratoga Curbside Pickup Procedure

  • Call, email, or Facebook message us to place an order with an estimated pickup time.
  • Provide a credit card number for processing, as well as your phone number.
  • We will pick and pack your order for you!
  • All hard-surfaced items will be disinfected before being placed in the bag(s).
  • Your purchased items will be available for pickup on our front porch!
  • We will give you a call to notify you that your order is ready.

For Saratoga Grain Orders

When you arrive at the store, give us a call to let us know you have arrived, and we will meet you behind the store at the shed. We are requesting that all customers please remain in their vehicles while we load their grain. Thank you!
