Forshner's Hoof Packing is the original ready-to-use emollient hoof packing. Farrier's favorite with the same great formula high performance horseowners and horseshoers have depended on for over 25 years. Aids in the prevention of hardened frogs, contracted heels and hoof dryness. Contains vital oils to help retain moisture. Excellent for use under pads before shoeing or after hard workouts.

Active Ingredients
- Pine tar, 8.5% w/w
- Petrolatum, 27.40% w/w
- Paraffin, 8.96%, w/w
Directions for Use
Make sure hoof is thoroughly clean and dry. Pack in around frog. Spread layer over sole and cover with paper. Apply two or three times a week. For easier application in cold weather, keep where warm.

My horse's hooves and soles got rock hard. I started packing them with this and the farrier was able to get a good trim which relieved the pain she was in. Cheshire horse has the best price I have been able to find on this stuff and with the NE shipping it made it an even better deal. It came really fast too.
