Hilton Herbs Bye Bye Fly Garlic Powder is a supplement made from 100% dehydrated human-grade garlic powder. Garlic is rich in bio-available sulphur and B group vitamins, which both have exceptional health benefits. When given on a daily basis Bye Bye Fly Garlic Powder will help support your horse's general health, balanced digestion, healthy respiration, and strong immune function. Additionally, garlic powder helps to deter flies and biting insects from bothering your horse, making it a wonderful supplement for the summer months as a feed-through fly-repellent.
Ingredient
Pure food-grade dehydrated garlic powder
Horses:
- 1 to 2 x 15 ml scoops per day
- Added to the feed on a daily basis, where possible splitting the required amount between two feeds.
- A 15ml scoop is included in the tub or bag and full instructions will be found on the packaging.
- Please allow up to a month for full benefits to be seen.
- In time, you may find the amount fed can be lowered.
- Animals are individuals, often a lower maintenance amount will be sufficient for long-term use.
Dogs:
- Small/Medium: ¼ to ½ teaspoon per day Large/50+ Kg: 1 level teaspoon per day
- Some owners give Garlic every day, others every other day or for five days per week, whichever suits you best

I've been feeding this supplement for a few months now to pleasant results. I have a mustang who isn't ready to use fly spray, and I have noticed both of my horses are affected much less by the rampant flies we have gotten this summer. Both of my horses enjoy the flavor and have no problem eating it, however this is my first time ordering Bye Bye Fly Powder rather than Flakes, as I normally have in the past. The powder much tougher to feed compared to the flakes, easily sinking to the bottom and going unnoticed. I've started soaking a few handfuls of alfalfa cubes for the sole purpose of ensuring it is consumed, which works fantastically...but I don't love needing to soak extra food just because this is powdered. I will be sure to order Flakes next time, but hey! If you're already soaking feed, this is an awesome, more cost effective way to keep the flies at bay!
