I have only had these boots for a week, so I can't tell yet how long the zipper will hold out, but it feels like a quality zipper. The boot is comfortable and true to size. I have a tall, very slim calf. I replaced the stretchy laces with the non- stretchy ones and laced the boots up as tight as they will go. I still have room for a thick wool sock in the foot are ( I ordered 1/2 size up) as well as the calf area, but I'm not swimming in them. They could be taller, but I knew I wasn't buying a more classic dressage Winter boot when I ordered them. I wanted good construction, comfort, warmth, a nice look and being able to ride all day long in them. So far they are everything I hoped for.
