Engel clothes consist of 70% organic merino virgin wool and 30% silk. This perfect blend accentuates the characteristics of the individual fibers to provide a comfortable and long-lasting wear experience. This is the reason why Engel says clothes from merino virgin wool/silk fabric is their “nothing-can-top-underwear”.
The Engel company wool comes from Merino sheep. Merino virgin wool is finely crimped, does not itch and feels soft and cozy. The Merino sheep live in their natural environment on organic farms and enjoy a healthy and stress-free life. The usage of pesticides is forbidden both on pastures and on animals. Therefore, you will feel good wearing Engel both on your skin and in your heart.

I love these merino boy shorts! I previously used another brand (Stoic performance boy boxer - you know the one! Note: I purchased medium in Stoic but large in Engel. Check measurements to be sure you're getting the correct size.), but they no longer make them anymore and I started a search for a replacement. I found the Engel brand and decided to give it a try. I absolutely love them. They are comfortable, don't ride up, stay fresh - good for sports, warm weather, camping, etc. I purchased each color available - red, brown, and black. I wash them in the washing machine and then use the dryer - I think the instructions say not to use the dryer, but it is easier to just throw them in with everything else. I haven't had issues - maybe a teeny tiny bit of shrinkage but nothing major and it still fits perfectly (but might not last as long if properly laundered). I'm happy I found these as a replacement for the Stoic shorts!
