B-Kalm Paste by Horse Health is a calming product formulated to supply the essential amino acid L-Tryptophan, which mildly suppresses responses from the central nervous system. If a Valerian-based product has not been effective, this might be the answer. L-Tryptophan is deemed legal under FEI rules so is ideal for use in competition, as well as for travelling, racing and handling difficult horses. It helps to maintain calmness and relaxation and does not have any side effects.

Active Ingredient
L-Tryptophan (10,000mg/syringe)
Inactive Ingredients
Artificial flavors, dextrose, ethyl alcohol, ground limestone, potassium sorbate, sodium bentonite, sodium benzoate, sodium saccharin, thiamine hydrochloride, water, xanthan gum
Administration
Administer orally on the back of the horse’s tongue. For competition horses, administer 1 full syringe 1.5-2 hours before your class. For horses being transported, administer 1 full syringe 2 hours before loading, then 1 full syringe every 8 hours until the trip is over. \
Caution
Safety in pregnant mares or mares intended for breeding has not been proven. For use in horses only. Do not administer to animals intended for human consumption. Keep out of reach of children. Use as directed if administering to horses at competitions.
