The Equine-Medi Lens® Eye Protector was designed for all eye problems such as corneal ulcers, post-surgery care, and for use on any other problems around the eye such as lacerated eyelids or other lid problems that need protection throughout the treatment and healing process. This can also be used for eye issues that need long-term protection.

I have not used this product yet but bought it because of a recent episode of uveitis. I wanted to have this on hand for future use. When you need it, you can't wait. My horse's eye was very itchy, which exacerbated the problem. I have a 16 hand QH/TB and a 16.2 hand TB. I initially purchased a different hood in size large (recommended for QH and TB). It was way too small, and the solid color cups caused my TB to panic. I found this product and liked the clear cups. The XL fits both horses.
