This Shires Bevel Bit with Copper Lozenge allows mild leverage. The copper lozenge tastes sweet to the horse and encourages salivation. The lozenge prevents the nutcracker effect created by a single-joint bit. Mouthpiece thickness is 16mm. Cheek height is 55mm (4.5", 5") and 70mm ( 5.5").
For a long life and your horse's welfare, wash the bit after every use, check its condition and dry it with a clean towel. Store in a dry environment.
