Say goodbye to frozen hoses in frigid temperatures by purchasing the PIRIT Heated Hose: the hose that works in below-freezing temperatures! This thermostatically controlled hose turns on when outside temperatures are below 45° F and turns off when temperatures are above 50° F, making it safe and effective for use around the farm. Subzero temperatures are no match for this heavy-duty hose which has been tested to -42 degrees F (-41 degrees C ). Simply plug it into a grounded power supply and then screw the grounded Nickel Plated Brass Female and Male Coupling onto your water hydrant, then you are ready to go.
We love the PIRIT heated hose because it eliminates the need to lug heavy water buckets in the middle of winter. Many equestrian and livestock owners use it to provide a constant source of water in freezing temperatures.
It is a heavy-duty hose that is built for life around the farm. It includes protective bend restrictors at both ends, an abrasion-resistant cover, and knit reinforcing. The heater wires are extruded directly into the hose walls for uniform heating and unrestricted water flow.

I haven't had cold weather to truly test this product out yet, but, from the up close look of it and how it's made, compared to all other products in it's category, this seems to be the SAFEST, best quality and properly engineered product I could find on the internet and it's price is unbeatable for use in supplying potable drinking water. I will come back in spring 2019 to add to review. I just purchased it. Cheshire Horse has been perfect in every way.
