BugPellent Fly & Tick Gel is a unique, non-greasy water-based gel made with natural essential oils that provide highly effective insect repellency on areas where fly spray application is not advised; around the face, chin, poll, and neck. Controls deer, house, stable, horse and black flies, ticks, mosquitoes, and gnats. No pyrethrins, pyrethrums, pyrethroids, or industrial pesticides. Naturally aromatic. Non-toxic.

Is this better than chemical stuff? No. But given the toxicity of & allergic side effects of many chemical sprays, I've sworn off them. BugPellent products work better than most 'natural' products here. Repels the worst of the big biters - & the hanging repellent sticks also keep wasps & yellow jackets out of barn & trailer.

I am allergic to almost everything that goes into insecticides & repellents & I have asthmas so inhaling sprays is really bad. Besides smelling nice, this stuff really works & you can get it on exactly the places most likely to be bitten so it's very economical.
