Equine Sales Specialist

We're looking for part- and full-time Equine Sales Specialists to join our Swanzey, NH flagship store.

We offer a great benefits package for full-time employees, including health and dental insurance, paid holidays and vacations, a 401(k) plan, and a generous employee discount.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Provide personalized customer service in the store and over the phone
  • If necessary, partner with management to ensure customers’ needs are met
  • Inform customers of current promotions
  • Courteously handle accurate sales, refund, and exchange transactions
  • Develop and/or maintain store displays and merchandising

Desired skills and experience:

  • 2+ years equine sales experience in a retail environment
  • A passionate rider with knowledge of the English riding industry, horse showing, and equestrian tack and supplies
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to help customers meet their riding and horse care goals
  • Saddle fitting experience a plus

 

Stocking Associate

  • Stocking and organizing back stock

  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Must be able to routinely lift 50 lb
  • Horse, pet, and/or farm product knowledge a plus
