The Cheshire Horse is proud to carry a complete line of Myler bits. The founders of Myler Bits - Ron, Dale and Bob Myler - are third generation horsemen who have revolutionized the horse bit marketplace. Focusing on tongue relief and tongue pressure in their training program, they have developed a line of bits that will help you to communicate with your horse more effectively. When a horse is comfortable in their mouth, they are able to focus and relax, which shows through with increased performance. Available in English, Western, and Combination styles, Myler bits help horses and riders understand each other with a systematic approach. This line of bits has been divided into three different mouthpiece levels depending on the behavior and training level of the horse. Level One Myler bits apply the most amount of tongue pressure to teach green horses. Meanwhile, Level Three Myler bits apply minimal tongue pressure and allow for the most tongue relief, making them ideal for the highly trained performance horse.

Myler bits are available in a number of different cheek pieces (including kimberwicke, loose ring, Pelham, eggbutt, and full cheek) and mouthpieces. Many materials, such as stainless steel and copper, have been utilized to encourage salivation and increased communication between horse and rider.

Many of the Myler snaffle bits are now legal in the dressage arena, provided the rein and bit hooks are not utilized. For the most up to date information, be sure to refer to the United States Dressage Federation.
