The Cheshire Horse offers two trailers for rent. The stock trailer is available to rent for $100 per day (24 hours). There is a $75 refundable damage & cleaning fee. It has a divider that can make box stalls or a roomy slant load. The horse trailer is available to rent for $150 per day (24 hours). There is a $125 refundable damage & cleaning fee. What kind of rental trailers do you offer?
We offer both a Featherlite stock trailer with a center divider gate and a Shadow 2-Horse Straight Load trailer with a tack room.
How large are your rental trailers?
Our stock trailer is 12' and our horse trailer is 17'.
What is the trailer ball size?
Both trailers use a 2 5/16 hitch ball.
What are the weights of your rental trailers?
The stock trailer weight is 2300 lb, and the GVW is 7000 lb. The horse trailer weight is 2820 lb, and the GVW is 7000 lb.
What kind of vehicle do I need to pull a rental trailer?
Your tow vehicle must have a 7000 lb tow capacity.
How can I hook up marker lights, tail lights, stop lights, and brakes?
Both rental trailers require a standard 7-way RV style plug-in for lights.
How long can I rent a trailer?
The rental period is unlimited unless the trailer is reserved for a future date.
What are the cleaning requirements after renting a trailer?
Trailers must be returned in the same condition in which they left. They must be washed down and clean after every rental.
