Western Cinches

Tighten up your cinch and head out on your ride with a saddle that is secure and properly positioned. The right cinch, or Western-style girth, will steady your saddle while keeping your horse comfortable.

These cinches are appropriate for a number of Western disciplines, including Western pleasure, reining, roping, trail riding, pleasure riding, horsemanship, cutting, working cow horse, gymkhana riding, and ranch riding. Cinches with roller buckles are extremely popular, because they are easy to adjust and tighten.

Many equestrians prefer neoprene-lined cinches for trail riding and schooling. Neoprene cinches are extremely durable and easy to clean; simply hose off the horse sweat, hair, and mud after your ride. We also carry cinches made from technical materials which are breathable and direct heat away from your horse's skin, which maximizes air circulation and keeps your horse cool and comfortable.

If your horse is prone to girth galls and chafing, look for a cinch with padding to protect against irritation. Sometimes mohair cinches are the best cinch for horses with sensitive skin. Fleece-lined cinches and felt-lined cinches also have simple care instructions; when they're dirty you can machine wash many of them for ultimate convenience.
