Cavallo Pastern Wraps are an accessory that was developed specifically for use with the Cavallo Hoof Boot. The Cavallo Pastern Wraps protect your horse's pasterns against rubbing from the hoof boots during long rides. They are added comfort for horses with sensitive skin. They also prevent debris from entering the boot, which can further irritate your horse's skin. To use, simply velcro the Cavallo wrap around the hoof, keeping it low to the ground around the bottom of the bulb and drawing the elastic diagonally upward from back to front. Place the boot on the hoof, toe first, ensuring that the wrap lies flat. Then, velcro the red tab from the pastern wraps onto the red Velcro on the tongue of the boot. Carry on your boot fastening procedure as normal.

These are less bulky than the sleeves and create a nicer look as well as less area to pick up stickers out on the trail. They run WAY small--a size one hoof boot needs a medium wrap and a size 3 hoof boot needs a large wrap.
