Vermont Blend Forage Balancer from Custom Equine Nutrition is an amino acid, mineral, and prebiotic supplement that acts as a ration balancer. Designed to be fed in conjunction with New England-based grass forage, it addresses the deficiencies in the soil to ensure that your horse is receiving the vitamins and minerals that they need to thrive. Suppling the minerals that are most deficient in Vermont hay, Vermont Blend Forage Balancer is low sugar and low starch, making it appropriate for horses with Cushing's disease or Insulin Resistance in many cases (please follow your veterinarian's guidelines and suggestions). It has no added iron or fillers, just ingredients that your horse needs! Additionally, it contains the three most limiting Amino Acids (Lysine, Methionine, and Threonine) to help build your horse's topline and assist in muscle development. The ingredients are formulated for whole-body health, including coat health and hoof health. It also includes prebiotics that supports the health of the digestive system and increase your horse's nutrient absorption. This means that your horse is getting more out of the hay and grain rations that you are already feeding them. A perfect complement for horses who consume an all-forage diet and in low to moderate workloads. It is safe for broodmares, weanlings, yearlings, adult horses, senior horses, mules, and donkeys. Feeding Instructions

My horse has quite a number of allergies so that standard horse feed is not feasible. He also became a finicky eater but lo & behold he savors this product. Highly recommend it to difficult feeders as an additional supplement in his feed for its nutrition.
