The outsole is also durable and high abrasion, designed for optimal wear on hardscape surfaces as well as in muddy conditions. The boot has genuine rubber overlays that are oil-resistant and raised lateral and medial sidewalls for added stability on uneven surfaces. The direct-attached vulcanized sole construction is designed to last the life of the boot, and the scalloped shank area provides increased stability on ladder rungs and rocky terrain. A steel shank adds arch support. In addition to its durability and stability, the Mudcat Mid Boot is also 100% waterproof, with a 5mm DENSOPRENE® foam insulated bootie to keep your feet warm and dry. The HYDROKOTE® water-repellent treatment ensures that water rolls off and dries in seconds. The 4-way stretch breathable AIRMESH lining promotes airflow to keep your feet comfortable, and the easy-on/easy-off design with 4-way stretch materials and a generous heel kick makes it convenient to wear.
