At Pear Tree Studio in Harrisville, NH, a collaborative group of local women have been designing and creating unique products made from recycled sweaters since 1989. Lush natural fibers including wool, mohair, cashmere, angora and alpaca are re-purposed into animals, blankets and various wearables. All animals are stuffed with recycled shredded polyester and lined with cotton tee-shirts.
