Feeding Amounts & Instructions

Feeding Directions: Offer to calves free choice daily up to 7 lbs/hd/day (7 lbs per hd/day would provide 231 mg/hd/day of lasalocid).

*For coccidiosis control: Hand feed at the rate of 1.0 mg lasalocid per 2.2 lbs of bodyweight per day (up to a maximum of 360 mg/hd/day) to cattle up to 800 lbs.

For increased rate of weight gain: in pasture cattle (slaughter, stocker, feeder cattle and dairy and beef replacement heifers) Feed continuously at a rate of no less than 60 mg nor more than 300 mg/head/day. Intakes of lasalocid in excess of 200 mg per head per day have not been shown to be more effective than 200 mg per head per day.

A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in pre-ruminating cattle. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal. The safety of Lasalocid for use in unapproved species has not been established. Do not allow horses or other equines access to feeds containing Lasalocid as ingestion may be fatal.
