The ProLite Thin Adjustable Tri Pad is a slimmed-down version of the popular adjustable pad affectionately known as “the saddle fitter’s friend”. This comfortable saddle pad is easily adjustable and helps to fix minor saddle fit problems. This thin wide pad has been designed to minimize bulk, with a simple shim system. The shims provide quick and easy front or rear adjustment when trying to balance a saddle. Set on a thin base to keep bulk to a minimum, this three-pocketed pad provides endless solutions when trying to balance a saddle on a horse with asymmetric conformation or during a remedial fit. Many saddle fitters find that it is helpful for the sway-backed or croup high horse. The Tri-Pad has six pockets so is probably Prolite's most versatile tool for the saddle fitter because adjustments can be made at either the front, middle, and rear, plus balance adjustments side to side. This makes it useful for a horse with asymmetrical conformation and can also be the solution for a horse with a dipped, sway back (for example, older horses), where you can just shim the central sections.

.the pad seems well made and the inserts are very good quality foam. as per my chiropractors advice for a small saddle fit adjustment I only use one pad in each of the center pockets so I would like that there was more substance to the rest of the pad. I am only using one pad in the center pockets as recommended by the equine chiropractor. I would like a bit more substance to the pad itself so that it had more shape when not using pads in every pocket.
