Swine Prefer Iron Boost supplement from Vets Plus is an oral source of iron and trace minerals for newborn and suckling piglets. Shown to maintain hematocrit levels as effectively as a 200 mg iron dextran injectable. Will not induce diarrhea and prevents needle-induced swelling common with iron injectables.

Feeding Directions
Attach the provided pump to the bottle. Place the nozzle into the piglet's mouth. Slowly give one full pump, allowing time to swallow. Make sure the pump returns to its original position.
Warning
Certain intestinal bacteria can multiply in the presence of iron, which may cause scouring or vomiting. These instances are rare but require appropriate scouring treatment. Consult your veterinarian if needed.
