Sani-Care Premium Hardwood Bedding is an all-natural bedding that is manufactured NIH-approved premium hardwoods, including a blend of beech, birch, and maple woods. Sani-Care's unique manufacturing process called MicroCube Technology™ and high heat treatment creates a bedding that is virtually dust-free (making it wonderful for horses with respiratory issues). It also is highly absorbent, absorbing over 300% of its own weight in moisture. Sanicare contains no chemical additives or paper sludge.

When urine and manure mix with the bedding, the moisture forms clumps. This locks in noxious odors, such as ammonia, while also making it easier to sift the dirty bedding away from the clean bedding. The unique manufacturing process greatly reduces (if not altogether eliminating) the need to strip the stall and replace all the bedding material, facilitating cleaner, drier stalls for improved animal health. The small cut of the bedding does not accumulate in hooves, which helps to prevent disease.

Sani-Care Premium Hardwood Bedding can also be used for other animals in their stalls or coops (it is popular as poultry bedding), it can also be used as a clumping cat litter.
