EquiLix® is SweetPro® Premium Supplement’s all-in-one free choice equine lick block.  Our no molasses/no starch block uses Distiller Dried Grains with solubles (DDGs), Condensed Distiller Solubles (CDS) and flax meal to deliver fiber, fat, protein and complex carbohydrate energy to your horse.  EquiLix also features a complete vitamin, mineral and trace mineral program featuring biotin, vitamin E and organic forms of zinc, copper and manganese.

To enhance digestive performance, EquiLix includes SweetPro’s yeast culture prebiotic blend, ProBiotein®.  ProBiotein features fermentation metabolites, multiple prebiotic fibers, protein isolates, yeast and Omega 3 fatty acids.  The components support the horse’s digestive system to more efficiently digest forages for better nutrient uptake and utilization.  Designed to minimize the need for a wide variety of supplements, EquiLix supports immune system efficiency by enhancing the horse’s digestive tract microbiome.

EquiLix is a free choice supplement that can be used in a pasture or dry lot setting.  Intake of EquiLix in most situations will be a pound per day per head.  When intake declines due to an increase in forage or ration quality, utilize EquiLix Performance Intake “PI” to enhance intake.  If intake of EquiLix increases due to a decline in forage or ration quality, we recommend using EquiLix MaXX to bring consumption back into a normal range.

Available in three sizes: 50 lb block suitable for 1-2 horses, 125 lb block for groups of 3-9 horses and a 250 lb block for 10 or more horses.

Here's what you can expect with EquiLix:

SweetPro pioneered the solidification of fermentation feeds such as distillers grains into solid blocks and their own fermentation process to produce a unique “blend additive” called ProBiotein®.

ProBiotein supports the digestion of forages so horses get more out their hay.

Organically complexed trace minerals help support bioavailability of those important minerals.
Plus the FlaxFactor – stabilized milled flax with its high levels of healthy omega 3 fatty acids.

Feeding Directions

  1. Before feeding Equilix for the first time, animals should be well fed and have access to plenty of clean, fresh water.
  2. Have enough lick blocks for each head of horses.
  3. Provide an adequate source of good quality forage at all times (all they can eat).
  4. Place lick blocks in stalls or in pastures where horses loaf.
  5. Make lick blocks available in more than one location in large pastures or where more than one water source is available.
  6. If animals run out of lick blocks, repeat from Step #1.
  7. Other salt and minerals may be provided free choice to balance specific rations.
  8. A two week adaption period will be required to establish a base consumption rate.
  9. The above feeding directions are general guidelines and will vary with the overall feeding conditions. Always use good management practices and adapt to you specific requirements.

*WARNING: Contains 660 ppm copper. DO NOT feed to sheep.
