The Myler Bitting system is a graduated system, comprised of three different levels, that allows  you to select the right bit for your horse based on their behavior and level of training.

Level Two-Three Myler bits are ideal for horses with basic training that have a good disposition and self-control, and therefore can handle more tongue relief. More advanced horses that have a challenging disposition (anxious, aggressive, or fearful horses) often respond well to Level Two-Three mouthpieces as well.

If you are currently riding your horse in a Level Two Myler bit, you will know when it is time to transition to a Level Two-Three bit when your horse begins to show resistance to the bit. According to the Myler system, when your horse begins to resist the bit, that is the cue to move to a softer bit - not harsher.

The founders of Myler Bits, Ron, Dale and Bob Myler are third generation horsemen who have revolutionized the horse bit marketplace. The Level Two-Three Myler mouthpieces are ported, which offer more tongue relief than Level One or Level Two Mylers. Level Two-Three Myler bits utilize bar, poll, and chin pressure to fine-tune the communication between you and your horse. The mouthpiece of the bit is curved to allow more room for the tongue when the bit is in a neutral resting position. When horses are comfortable in their mouth, they are able to focus and relax which shows through with increased performance.

The Level Two-Three Bits also have options with and without independent side movement within the mouthpieces.

Available in English and Western styles, Myler Level Two-Three bits are offered in a number of different cheek pieces (including kimberwicke, English Dee, Pelham, eggbutt, and shank) and mouthpieces. Many materials, such as stainless steel and copper, have been utilized to encourage salivation and increased communication between horse and rider. Combination Bits are also available in Level Two-Three.
