The Durvet Pre-Starter Feeder is designed to enhance broiler weights for chicks aged 0 to 10 days compared to conventional feed trays. Its improved flange design minimizes feed waste, ensuring efficient feeding. Each feeder, made from BPA free 100% virgin polypropylene and can hold approximately 12 lbs. of feed. It is recommended to use one feeder per 12-18 chicks, facilitating an effective transition to pan feeders.
